Biography
Dr. Sani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, South Dakota. His research includes extremophilic bioprocessing of lignocellulose-based renewables for biofuels and bioproducts and bioprospecting of extremophilic microorganisms for developing more efficient and cost-effective biofuel (bioenergy) production technologies. Over the past 9 years, he has been the PI or co-PI on over $10.5 million in funded research. Several of his accomplishments in research and advising include: i) Postdocs supervised (6); ii) Graduate students supervised (MS students, 10 and PhD, 5), and iii) Undergraduate students and K12 teachers supervised (20). He has one patent, three invention disclosures, and published 47 peer-reviewed articles in high impact factor journals and has contributed in three book chapters. In addition, he has been a proposal reviewer and panelist for the Federal Agencies i) National Science Foundation, ii) the U.S. Army Research Office, iii) the Department of Energy, iv) U.S. Geological Survey, and v) User Facility - Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory. He also serve the Industrial Microbiology profession as “Biocatalysis Program Committee Member†of the Society for Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology (SIMB), technical session chair at the Annual American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and SIMB, an associate editor, and International Advisory Committee for ICRABR-2015.

Biography
Khalid OUFDOU is a full professor at the Cadi Ayyad University. He had his 3rd cycle Doctorate in Microbiology on 1994 and his State Doctorate Es-Sciences in Microbiology and Biotechnolgy on 2000. He supervised more than 10 PhD theses and published more than 40 publications with high impact factor. He developed several research projects with Spain, France, Germany, Tunisia, Portugal and Sweden (3 IFS grants). He was awarded by the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD Germany: 3 months fellowship) and by the Alexander von Humboldt foundation (AvH Germany: 8 months fellowship). He was the chairman of the first edition (02-05 November 2009: MICROBIOD 1) and the second edition (02-04 October 2012: MICROBIOD 2) of the International congress: "Microbial Biotechnology for Development": www.ucam.ac.ma/microbiona. He was the President of the Moroccan Association of Microbial Biotechnology and Protection of Natural Resources (MICROBIONA) from 2009 to 2013.

Biography
DD Patra, Soil Scientist, graduated from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, in 1975. Dr Patra did Ph D from IARI, New Delhi. He worked for Rajasthan Agricultural University (1983-1987) and Rothamsted Experimental Station, UK (1983-1984), CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, India (1987-2015). He has published more than 150 research papers and authored 03 books, recipient of more than 18 awards, patents 07, and plant variety 06. Most awards to him was for the science and technology success. Dr Patra was selected as Fellow of National Academy of Sciences, India, National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi.

Mudher Mustafa professor for Health sciences and Microbiology. He has earned a PhD and actively participates in the American Society for Microbiology. Canadian Society for Applied Microbiology.He served as instructor and examiner for Microbiology, Biochemistry, science and technology and general science on Campus.
